NEW YEAR, NEW LEADERSHIP

Building a Stronger Pennsylvania is proud to congratulate co-founder Senator Ryan Aument (R-36) and former BSP spotlight recipient Senator Scott Martin (R-13) on their appointments to Senate leadership. To amplify the conservative message in Pennsylvania, we need leaders who uplift others and are results-focused.

This year, our country has faced a litany of hardships, including rising inflation rates and sinking beyond $31 trillion in national debt. On the other hand, our Commonwealth established historic fiscal advances, like passing Act 53 to lower our Corporate Net Income Tax rate and putting money into Pennsylvania’s Rainy-Day fund.

It is important to take pride in our 2022 achievements and look ahead to how we can make our Commonwealth a place for residents and businesses to thrive.

However, Governor-elect Josh Shapiro has expressed a change of heart on the matter. Even his campaign website cited he “favors adding choices for parents and educational opportunity for students and funding Lifeline Scholarships like those approved in other states and introduced in Pennsylvania.” Who knows? Maybe this donkey can change its tail after all…
